This standard ten point discovery request is designed to request the key case-specific items necessary to review an STR case. The request is intended to be non-burdensome and offers the opportunity to provide discovery in electronic form for foundational documents such as protocols. The request language is not intended to be fully comprehensive for all cases, and in many instances it may be necessary to request additional materials such as validation studies or more detailed documentation pertaining to proficiency testing, laboratory accreditation and/or unexpected results logs.
